An intrepid team have returned from a never-to-be-forgotten trek across the Himalayas to raise £166,000 for a Lancaster hospice.
The St John's Hospice trekkers are back home after 11 days in India which included a climb to peaks of 2875m in the stunning surroundings of the Indian foothills.
The team ended their trip with a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal mausoleum in Agra.
"Our amazing intrepid trekkers arrived back at St John's Hospice this morning after 11 days of trekking across India," said a post on the hospicde Facebook page on Monday.
"Memories were made, experiences that will never be forgotten and a phenomenal £166,000 raised for hospice care. Welcome home team!"
St John's Hospice, based on Slyne Road in Lancaster, provides end-of-life care for people in the North Lancashire and South Cumbria area.
The first overseas trek for the hospice was in 2016.
The hospice is now signing up trekkers for the next one in 2025, on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrim trail in Spain to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Santiago old town.
