Police have asked for help from the public after a series of 'opportunist crimes' in the Scale Hall area of Lancaster.
A series of incidents have been reported over the past few weeks in the area, including a bike stolen from a shed on Edenvale Crescent, somebody entering a property on Hyndburn Place through an insecure door on February 11, and somebody trying to get into vehicles on Torrisholme Road overnight on February 5-6.
Speaking on his regular Beyond the Beat segment on Beyond Radio on Tuesday, Det Insp Adie Knowles of Lancaster Police appealed for the public to report any crimes they see in progress to 999, or if they see anyone acting suspiciously in the area call 101 or 0800 555 111.
