A replica RAF Chinook helicopter will be on display in the heart of Lancaster as part of a three-day roadshow giving people a rare chance to step inside military aircraft.
The Royal Air Force Town Show will come to Dalton Square in the city from Friday May 8 to Sunday May 10.
The free event will showcase cutting-edge technology and career opportunities.
Visitors can meet serving personnel, and explore careers in the Royal Air Force.
Part of a nationwide tour visiting 15 towns and cities across the UK, the RAF Town Show is expected to attract thousands of visitors of all ages.

The event will feature STEM challenges showcasing the innovation behind RAF operations, a mixed-reality experience, opportunities to discover the different sports available to RAF Regulars and Reservists, and live performances from an RAF band.
Families are actively encouraged to attend, with activities designed for all ages.
No prior registration is required to attend, though those wishing to register their interest in advance can do so via the event's Eventbrite page.
"A lot of people don’t realise just how varied a career in the RAF can be until they see it up close," said Sgt Ben Bainbridge, event organiser.
"Bringing the Town Show to Lancaster gives us a chance to step out of the base or air show environment and have those conversations in
a much more relaxed setting.
"Whether someone is already thinking about joining or just wants to find out a bit more, we’re looking forward to welcoming people in, showing them what we do, and answering questions face-to-face.”
It will run from 10am to 5pm each day.
