Lancaster's branch of The Body Shop will stay open as the administration-hit company announced 75 of its stores will close across the UK.
The store at 4-6 Market Street is on the list of 116 to continue trading, as is the Preston shop, although the Kendal store is one of those to shut.
It has also been announced that 489 jobs will go over next four to six weeks.
Seven immediate closures were confirmed two weeks ago, after The Body Shop announced it had entered administration in February.
Its portfolio of nearly 200 shops was said to be "no longer viable" after "years of unprofitability".
