An intrepid team of trekkers have set off on a journey across the Himalayas to one of the Seven Wonders of the World to raise money for a Lancaster hospice.
The team left on Thursday en route to the Taj Mahal in India on an adventure of a lifetime, in aid of St John's Hospice.
They will trek around 50km through breathtaking Indian Himalaya mountain scenery, explore the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama and visit the famous Taj Mahal mausoleum in Agra, India.
So far almost £150,000 has been raised.
Lily Knight from the St John's Hospice fundraising team, who is taking part in the trek, spoke about it on Beyond Radio's show with Mateo Sanderson and Sam Cragg last Saturday.
"We are walking over five days in the Indian Himalayas," she said.
"I've been out in the Lakes as much as I can, and in the gym, so hopefully I'll be OK. There are 34 of us."
Meanwhile, people can also join in by taking part in 'The Race to the Taj Mahal' for the hospice.
This is a virtual race across the world aiming to beat the trekkers to the 4,355 mile destination.
The virtual race got under way today (November 7) and over the course of the 10 days of the trek any activities you complete will be included in the mileage total.
This could be walking, running, swimming or cycling – they will all add to the distance!
A map is being shared each day with updates and there will be a distance leaderboard.
