Young musical theatre stars raised funds for a great cause despite torrential rain enforcing a last-ditch change of plan to save their show.
Sophie's Academy of Musical Theatre, based in Morecambe, were able to put on their Summer Showcase event after moving it to Crag Bank Village Hall in Carnforth at the 11th hour.
Youngsters had been due to show off their singing, dancing and acting skills on the Trimpell Sports and Social Club field in Morecambe on Sunday but the awful weather over the weekend put paid to their scheduled outdoor performance.
But then Carnforth Town Council stepped in to save the day, making Crag Bank Village Hall available for them to use at short notice.
All 100 children adapted to completely new surroundings wonderfully well to perform watched by 300 family and friends.
Sophie Butler, from Sophie's Academy of Musical Theatre (pictured below), said: "Couldn’t thank Carnforth Town Council enough for their help and hospitality at Crag Bank Village hall this weekend. You saved our show!
"24 hours of madness to turn this around from a singular outdoor performance I’d been planning for months, to two separate indoor shows in a totally new venue, new running order and different time calls. But we did it and we didn’t have to cancel!
"I’m so proud of these kids for pulling off what they did today after no rehearsal and never stepping foot in the venue before."

Bob Bailey, Carnforth town clerk, had seen Sophie's appeal for an indoor venue on social media.
At around the same time, Carnforth Town Council’s Facilities Manager, Rik Marsden, received a desperate call from the parent of a girl called Avery who was ready to celebrate ‘her first real birthday party’ with all her friends only to find that they could not get in to the venue they had booked.
With just 30 minutes' notice, Rik and his wife Linda, got Carnforth Civic Hall ready just in time for a group of very excited five year olds, and their parents and guardians to arrive for their much-anticipated party.
Avery’s mum, Kelly, said: "We are so thankful for Carnforth Town Council’s help on Sunday- they made our little girl's birthday party so special and she absolutely loved it!"
