The X-ray department at a medical clinic in Morecambe will be closed for two days, it has been announced.
The X-ray machine at the Queen Victoria Centre is having its annual two-day service on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
Patients can have their X-rays done at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on these days or wait until Thursday for the unit to reopen, said the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
"It is important that the X-ray equipment is well maintained and in good working order to ensure an excellent service for patients," said a trust spokesperson.
A post from Bay Medical Group said: "BMG patients, (the trust) have advised us that the X-ray department at Queen Vic Centre Morecambe will be closed on Tuesday January 7 2025 and Wednesday January 8 2025.
"Normal service will resume Thursday January 9 2025.
"Anyone needing an X-ray on these days, will be directed to the main site at Lancaster.
"Apologies for any convenience this will cause."
