A man and a woman have denied the manslaughter of a Heysham toddler following a gas explosion last year.
51-year-old Sharon Greenham, and Darren Greenham, 44, pleaded not guilty at Preston Crown Court to the manslaughter of two-year-old George Hinds.
Police were called to the scene of the blast on Mallowdale Avenue in the early hours of Sunday, May 16th. Firefighters and ambulances also attended the scene.
Two houses had collapsed with serious damage to a third property,
The pair also pleaded not guilty to damaging a gas meter and theft of gas.
Both will go on trial in October.
