A lorry driver was injured after his heavy goods vehicle overturned on the Bay Gateway at Lancaster.
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 5pm on Saturday afternoon (May 24), which caused the A683 at the Shefferlands Roundabout near Halton, to be closed for a number of hours.
The road was reopened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Three fire engines and the Urban Search and Rescue Team from Morecambe, Lancaster, Preston and Chorley attended the incident, with fire crews releasing one casualty and passing them to the care of Northwest Ambulance Service.
They also implemented pollution control methods due to oil and diesel leaking from the vehicle.
