A father and son team have announced they will be opening a new micropub and coffee house in Morecambe.
Tom Coffey and his dad Andy will be opening Coffey's bar on Lancaster Road later this month.
The new premises will be in a former care company building on the corner of Whitby Road, close to the One Stop store.
"We’ve been working very hard getting the place ready and cannot wait to open the doors in a couple of weeks' time," said Tom.
"Pop in for coffee and cake or one of our more thirst quenching tipples!"
As you can see from the photo, Coffey's will be dog-friendly!
Opening hours will be 8.30am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
Micropubs are usually small pubs that do not play background music. They promote conversation and sell cask ales.
There are several micropubs in our local area, including the Little Bare in Bare and The Crossing at Hest Bank.
