The full programme has been announced for an expanded three-day celebration of our Armed Forces in Morecambe.
Lancaster & Morecambe Armed Forces Day weekend runs from this Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21.
The weekend is a chance for people to come together to appreciate the Armed Forces community and blue light services, and enjoy an action-packed weekend with the whole family.
Events include a drone show on Friday evening, displays and parades, live entertainment and music, interactive military vehicles and stalls, and family fun. The event is free.
Activities will centre around Morecambe central Promenade, the Platform, Stone Jetty, Memorial Gardens and Winter Gardens.
On Saturday there will be a parachute displays from the Army Red Devils team, a military parade on the Promenade, and a display flight by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - Dakota. On Sunday the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - Hurricane will take to the Morecambe skies.
Beyond Radio will be there on Saturday to provide music and announcements.

Marine Road Central, Morecambe Promenade, will be closed between the junction with Northumberland Street and the roundabout that connects Marine Road Central and Central Drive, on Saturday June 20 from 8am to 6pm.
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted on the day.
A temporary no-drone zone will be in place along Morecambe Beach and Promenade from 8am on Friday until 3pm on Sunday.
