The host of popular house-building show Grand Designs has been filming in the Lancaster area for a new programme on climate change.
Presenter Kevin McCloud and a film crew paid a visit to the Red Door Cafe in Halton, as well as the eco housing project in the village and Lancaster Town Hall for a new show as part of Channel 4's 'Climate Emergency Season'.
The show, which has the working title 'The Big Climate Fight', sees presenters Kevin, Mary Portas and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall take on the issue of how to stop climate change.
McCloud and a film crew popped into the Red Door Cafe to film footage of him making a Zoom call and also interviewed owners Eric Philbin and Elaine Shortland.
"They are doing a new three-part series for Channel 4," said Eric.
"We didn't know they were coming until about half an hour before. They needed somewhere with good broadband and Wi-fi!
"They visited the eco houses down by the river in Halton and came here. They were asking us about our thoughts on Lancaster City Council, because of its high number of Green councillors and Green policies"

The new series is due to air later this year as part of a series of programmes dedicated to exploring solutions to the climate crisis as part of Channel 4's on-going commitment to inform the public about climate change.
It aims to "kickstart real change by identifying the practical steps that governments and big business can take to eliminate our carbon emissions".
The series will explore how Britain can truly move to a carbon-free way of life, and set out a vision of a future UK that is greener, happier and healthier – powered by abundant, cheaper sustainable energy.
Guided by some of the most respected climate experts in the world, they will highlight the areas where they think the government needs to do more, campaigning for tangible improvements in key areas like energy and housing. They will put pressure on those in power, and join forces with other celebrities to create eye-catching stunts to draw attention to their cause.
Kevin said: "I am armoured and ready for The Big Climate Fight and excited to be part of it. Time is running out to halt climate change and rethinking the way our homes are built, heated and refurbished in this country is a win-win: good for the planet, and good for the people who live in them and have to pay the bills."
McCloud is best known as the host of Grand Designs which airs on Channel 4 and features unusual and often elaborate architectural homebuilding projects. It has been presented by Kevin since it first aired in April 1999, and more than 200 episodes have been broadcast in 23 series.
