The former Glow nightclub is to reopen, after an incident outside in which a man later died saw it close, it has been announced.
The nightclub has been closed since the middle of June, but now a message on the doors has appeared claiming it is to open under a new name with new ownership.
The painted message says the venue is ‘opening soon’ under a new name, ‘Vibe’.
22-year-old Joshua Hughes died following an incident outside the premises on June 12.
Police were called to a report that a man had been punched during an altercation outside Glow nightclub, Dalton Square, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.
He died in hospital a few days later.
A 31-year-old man from Leigh was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault and bailed pending further enquiries.
