A popular charity walk for Lancaster's hospice will have a different colour theme this year to celebrate its 40th birthday.
Participants in the Moonlight Walk for St John's Hospice on Saturday June 13 will be encouraged to wear red instead of green as in most recent years.
This is because of the ruby theme, as the Slyne Road hospice is marking 40 years of providing care for the local community.
Hundreds of walkers will assemble at the hospice from 8pm ahead of the walk starting at 10pm.
The Moonlight Walk is open to everybody and is a chance to celebrate anyone you have loved whilst supporting a vital local charity.
As well as friends and families, team, clubs and businesses of all shapes and sizes are welcome to take part.

The Moonlight Walk is a sponsored 16km or 8km night-time walk around Lancaster and Morecambe.
It will start and end at St John’s Hospice on Slyne Road and will visit Lancaster Castle en route.
Every walker is issued with a T-shirt which they can personalise in memory of someone important to them.

Everyone will set off together from St John's Hospice and head south to the castle, then walk down Morecambe Road and the shorter-walkers will turn down the Bay Gateway towards Slyne Road and back to the hospice.
Those on the 16km route will continue down Morecambe Road to Broadway and on to the Prom, along the Coastal Road to Bolton-le-Sands, where they'll rejoin the A6 and head back to the hospice.
A Memory Lane will take over the Millennium Bridge, moving from its original home on Morecambe Prom.
This means whether you're taking on the full 16km, or our new 8km route, you can enjoy this section of the route dedicated to remembering your loved ones.
For £20, a photo of someone you love can be displayed on Memory Lane, reminding you who you are walking for and giving you that boost to keep going.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary, the hospice has partnered with imitating the dog - the main organisation behind Light Up Lancaster.
The projection specialists will project participants' words about what St John's means to them on the entrance of the castle.
You can sign up for the Moonlight Walk HERE.
A special programme hosted by Luke Edmondson with support from Roy Ward and John Hewson, will air on Beyond Radio from 10pm to midnight on the night of the walk.
Beyond Radio's Greg Lambert will be one of the participants in this year's Moonlight Walk.
