Morecambe Music Festival gets under way today (Thursday July 9) with thousands expected to party in the town in glorious sunshine.
The weather forecast for the popular event, which traditionally pulls huge crowds of locals and visitors to Morecambe, is sunny and warm for all four days.
The free festival, which began in 2017, will take place in 40 venues around the town, including in pubs, clubs, cafes, hotels, theatres and more.
It gets under way tonight with a launch event at The Old Bank on Marine Road Central, featuring Elton John tribute Jimmy Love, as well as music at The Bull, The Pier and The Exchange.
Then on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there will be live music right across Morecambe town centre and the West End.
A party atmosphere is expected, particularly on the Saturday night with England set to play Norway in the FIFA World Cup.
Ahead of the event, festival founder Stuart Michaels spoke to Beyond Radio.

Beyond Radio is proud to once again be the official media partner for the festival, which runs until Sunday July 12.
We will be hosting a special live broadcast this Saturday July 11 from 2pm to 5pm, at festival venue The Winter Gardens.
