DJs will raise funds to help a charity for young people with a 10 hour marathon of music in Lancaster.
Lancashire Youth Challenge (LYC)’s Youth Council will host 'Live Your Best Life' - a 10-hour DJ Marathon at Moor Space, The Dukes, on Tuesday July 28 starting at 10am - as part of the charity's 10th anniversary.
This family friendly event is a fundraiser for LYC, a local charity who support young people aged 11 to 25 to overcome adversity, build resilience and discover their potential though active movement, outdoor adventure, creative practice and nature-based learning.
Money raised through the event will go directly towards supporting LYC’s multi-day summer cycle expedition ‘Highway to Hull’ - giving local young people the opportunity to experience a sense of achievement, belonging and personal growth.
Members of the LYC Youth Council visited Beyond Radio to talk about the DJ marathon.
