A van landed on its roof in a road traffic collision on the M6 near Carnforth - said police.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said the incident on Saturday morning was a damage-only collision in which the van suffered a blow out and had gone in to the central reservation.
A lane was closed between Junction 35 and 36 on the M6 northbound as emergency services worked at the scene.
National Highways: North West reported at 9.41am that the lane was closed, with delays of up to 30 minutes and two miles of congestion on approach, and at 10.43am that the motorway was open again after recovery of the vehicle was completed.
