A man has been arrested as police investigate burglaries at Chinese takeaways and a bar in Lancaster.
A 61-year-old man from Houghton-Le-Spring, County Durham has been arrested in Northumbria on suspicion of committing a number of commercial burglaries in Lancaster city centre and the wider district.
Det Insp Adie Knowles of Lancaster Police said the arrest was in connection with break ins at Chinese takeaways on Greaves Road, China Street, Dalton Square and Market Street, and at All Hopes No Promises bar on Market Street.
He said the burglaries took place between February 28 and March 14.
