Tony Doherty was arrested on Sunday, October 12, following reports of the burglary of a dwelling and theft which occurred on Friday, October 10.
The following day, the 38-year-old from Baycliffe Crescent in Morecambe was charged with two counts of fraud by false representation, one count of burglary and theft and one count of attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
