Man convicted of assaulting emergency worker at Lancaster train station

A 21-year-old man has been convicted of assault on an emergency worker after he slapped a British Transport Police officer in the face at Lancaster train station.

The man must observe a curfew for the next 28 days between 7pm and 7am, as well as pay £50 in compensation and £180 in costs and a surcharge.

A Collection Order has been made for a deduction from the man’s benefits.
