A man has been jailed following an incident in Heysham last week.
There was a significant police presence in the Roeburndale Crescent and Warren Grove areas of Heysham in the early hours of Friday, April 14.
Officers were responding to reports of criminal damage and a man suspected to be carrying a weapon.
Later that day a man was arrested in connection with the incident, and initially bailed.
However, it was found that he was wanted for failing to appear in court regarding other offences, and re-arrested.
Jaydon Garthwaite, 27, from Arkholme Court in Morecambe, was taken back to court the next morning and sentenced to six months in prison.
