A man has suffered a bleed on the brain after being attacked in Lancaster over the weekend.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault in the city, which has left the man with serious injuries.
It happened at around 9.15pm on Sunday (9th October) close to the taxi rank on Damside Street.
It’s reported the victim, a man in his 40’s, was verbally abused by a group of males before one of them punched him to the head, fracturing his nose.
Officers investigating are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the assault or for anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage which could help the investigation to contact us on 101, quoting the log number 0428 of 10th October 2022.
