Shoppers have been clamouring for a bargain as a closing down sale at Homebase in Morecambe enters its final days.
The store on Hillmore Way is offering discounts of up to 90 per cent off some items, after the DIY giant went into administration last year.
The shop was packed over the weekend with shoppers hunting a good deal before the store shuts within the next fortnight.
Customers were told that staff had been given a closing date of February 9, and the store was set to become The Range, with an opening date to be announced.
The Range - a popular home and garden retailer with more than 200 stores nationwide - has not officially confirmed they will be taking over the Morecambe shop, a spokesperson telling Beyond Radio they had no update at this time.

HHGL Limited and Hampden Group Ltd, operating under the brand Homebase, entered administration on November 13 2024.
CDS (Superstores International), trading as The Range and wilko, bought up to 70 Homebase stores in the UK, saving up to 1,600 jobs.
Other Homebase stores were put onto the market. The 'for sale' list did not include the Morecambe shop, fuelling rumours that it was one of those sold to The Range.
Several new The Range shops have already opened across the UK.
Last week, The Range also relaunched Homebase's website and the brand will continue to trade online.
