A Morecambe Bay shrimps fisherman has welcomed an old friend back to his shop - TV chef Rick Stein.
Ray Edmondson and his family received a visit from the celebrity chef and restauranteur more than two decades after he last filmed with them.
Ray, who has run a fishmonger's on Yorkshire Street for 43 years, still regularly goes out catching shrimps in Morecambe Bay to sell to his customers in the West End of Morecambe.
He said Rick was in Morecambe as part of a nostalgic trip to film people he'd met during his TV career, for a new television series.
Edmondson's Fresh Fish and Morecambe Bay Potted Shrimps featured on Rick's 'Seafood Lovers' Guide' programme on the BBC in 2001, and was profiled in Stein's book of the same name.
"I took him out fishing about 20 years ago," said Ray.
"He came back to film for a new series in spring of next year. He was here for a couple of hours. He didn't look much different, he looked really well.
"He had a taste of my shrimps and said how nice they were. He asked me if I could send some to his restaurant in Padstow because they were better than the ones he was getting down there!"
Edmondson's also featured on 'Ade on Britain' - a TV show hosted by Adrian Edmondson - who also visited the shop and went out fishing on the bay with Ray.
Ray said that although catching the famous Morecambe Bay shrimps was more "disheartening" than it used to be because of all the 'red tape' he has to follow, he has no intention of retiring.
"I could retire tomorrow but what would I do?" he said.
"I still do a few days on my boat and a few days in the shop, and I'm happy doing what I'm doing."
