A singer from Morecambe has appeared on the televised BBC Radio 2 in the Park festival alongside music legends not once...but twice!
Natasha Bates is a regular backing singer for Marti Pellow and Soul II Soul, who were both on the star-studded bill in Essex over the weekend.
Natasha was on stage throughout the sets by the Wet Wet Wet front man on Saturday and the soul music icons on Sunday, singing in front of tens of thousands of fans.
She said afterwards: "I had the best time, it was a brilliant two days."
The annual Radio 2 music event, held this year in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, was headlined by Bryan Adams and Def Leppard, and also featured Belinda Carlisle, Olly Murs, Suede, Stereophonics, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Louise, Ronan Keating and Anastasia.
It was broadcast live on the BBC i Player and on Radio 2 itself.

Natasha recently recorded vocals for Marti Pellow's new album and appeared with him on his 'Love Is All Around' 30th anniversary tour.
She also sang with Soul II Soul when they supported R 'n' B legend Mary J Blige at The Co-Op Live in Manchester earlier this summer.
In 2024, she was with the band when front man Jazzie B collected a Lifetime Achievement Award at the MOBOs.
Natasha has also released singles under the name 'Tashie Tones' and performed regularly as a solo artist around the Lancaster and Morecambe area.
