Person rescued from roof of house in Lancaster

Fire crews have rescued a person from the roof of a property in Lancaster

One fire engine from Lancaster was called to the incident on Brennand Close at 12.07am on Friday.

"Fire crews used one triple extension ladder, a method of entry kit and trauma pack to rescue one casualty from the roof of a domestic property and were in attendance for 30 minutes," said a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
