Beyond Radio was there to capture the first images of Mars inside the Winter Gardens in Morecambe.
The breathtaking shots show the world-famous artwork of the planet suspended inside the iconic theatre on Morecambe seafront.
The work by artist Luke Jerram opened to the public on Thursday and will be there until November 28.
It measures an impressive seven metres in diameter and features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Martian surface.
Mars in Morecambe has been funded by Morecambe Town Council, who have been working on the project for more than a year.

"This is the furthest north that Mars has ever been so far, so we feel very privileged," said Councillor Matthews.
"This is an iconic building in Morecambe and it shows off Mars beautifully.
"(Seeing Mars) took my breath away. Until you go and you experience it and you stand beside it, looking at it, you can't really describe it.
"There are many many people travelling a long way to come and see this installation.
"We are doing programmes with the local schools. There will be an art and photographic exhibition going on, from people visiting."

Catherine Huddleston, community partnership officer for the Leeds-Morecambe Community Rail Partnership, was one of the first visitors to see Mars at the Winter Gardens on Thursday.

"I turned the corner and there was Mars, and it was so peaceful and mesmerising, that I sat there for 15 minutes before I realised how much time had gone by," she said.
"To be here in this building, looking at Mars, where else in the world can you find that?"
Luke Jerram's Mars will be at the Winter Gardens until November 28.
Admission is £3 for adults, £1 for children and under threes go free. Opening times vary.

During Mars' stay at the Winter Gardens, there will be three candlelight concerts, with tickets available for the public to attend and listen to music.
They are:
Sunday November 13 - Kodama Duo - Violin and Piano Ensemble - 1pm and 5pm
Saturday November 19 - Leigh Coggins - Songs From the West End - 7pm
Saturday November 26 - Philip Chidell - Classical Violin Recital - 1pm and 5pm
