A free dinosaur-themed event for families, visitors and locals has once again proved to be a big hit in Lancaster city centre.
Dino Fest brought everything from 'dinosaurs' roaming the city to Dino Crazy Golf during the weekend of July 11 and 12.
The event, organised by Lancaster BID, centred around Market Square, Marketgate, St Nicholas Arcades, Dalton Square and other parts of Lancaster city centre.
It included appearances by a Velociraptor, a water spitting Dilophosaurus, Europe's biggest Anklyosaurus, a Spinosaurus, a T-rex and baby dinosaurs.
There was also a Baby Dino Trail, fossil talks, face painting, fairground rides, a Dino Dig sand pit, colouring, Dino Story Time and crafts in Lancaster Library, Dino Film Screenings at The Dukes, and more.
Dino Fest was sponsored by Marketgate shopping centre.
