Police have appealed for information after a series of six garage burglaries in a residential area of Lancaster.
The garages were broken into during the night of Saturday July 15 and Sunday July 16 in the Derwent Road area.
"Six garages in total were broken into where someone or some people have been cutting off padlocks to get into garages to steal bikes," said Detective Inspector Adie Knowles of Lancaster Police, speaking on his regular Beyond the Beat feature on Beyond Radio.
"If anyone saw anything at all that weekend, please let us know.
"In that area, if you see anyone lurking around or trying garage doors please ring it in to us."
You can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
