Two men have been bailed and another released without charge as investigations into an assault at a bar in Morecambe over the weekend continue.
At around 6:30pm on Saturday (July 11), they received a report of an assault in the outside area of Harry’s Bar on Marine Road Central.
Emergency services attended and found that a man had suffered a head injury.
The man, aged in his 60s, has been taken to hospital where he remains in what is being described as a ‘poorly’ condition.
Two 24-year-old men from Morecambe were arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm, and a third man, also aged 24, was arrested on suspicion of the same offence.
One of the 24-year-old men initially arrested has been released with no further action, while the second, and the man later arrested, have both been bailed whilst police enquiries continue.
