Police are asking residents to be vigilant after a spate of burglaries at properties on a street in Heysham.
The incidents have occurred recently at addresses on Levens Drive.
Officers are reminding people to take extra care to ensure their property is secure as part of the force’s Operation Defender – an initiative to crack down on such crime.
PCSO Will Pomroy said: ‘’Home security can be improved with a few simple measures, such as making sure all windows and doors are locked, keeping valuables out of sight from windows and leaving a light on when you're not home.
‘’Please report any suspicious activity to the police via 101 or online at the Lancashire Constabulary website, and please keep an eye on neighbouring properties as well.''
