Police are continuing to investigate after finding a stolen motorcycle which had been ridden dangerously around the Lancaster and Morecambe area.
Officers are making enquiries after the blue Lexmoto motorcycle was discovered in the Cathedral Drive area of Morecambe on Thursday.
They have called on residents to report any sightings of motorcycles being ridden in a dangerous or anti-social manner.
"We are aware that a blue Lexmoto motorcycle, which has been reported stolen, has been seen being ridden in a dangerous and anti-social manner around the Lancaster and Morecambe area over the past few days," said a Morecambe Area Police spokesperson.
"Following information provided by a member of the public, today officers attended the Cathedral Drive area of Morecambe and have successfully located the stolen blue Lexmoto motorcycle. Enquiries are ongoing, and there are active lines of investigation to identify and take action against those responsible for using the motorcycle in a dangerous and anti-social manner.
"We recognise this is a local issue and understand the risks and concern such behaviour causes within the community.
"We would ask that members of the public continue to report sightings of motorcycles being ridden in a dangerous or anti-social manner to us.
"Your information is vital in helping us take action and keep our roads and communities safe."
