Thousands of homes and businesses in Morecambe have been hit by a power cut.
A business that contacted Beyond Radio said power went off at around 11am on Friday and returned at 12.10pm.
Lizzi Collinge, MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale, posted on Facebook that it had been caused by an underground cable fault.
Ms Collinge said, posting just before noon, that 3389 properties were off but Electricity North West had "remotely switched network so now only 892 properties are off".
"Engineers are going to the site to find the problem and because it's underground they'll probably need to dig," she said.
"Once found, it should apparently be relatively quick to switch over/on."
Electricity North West's website said at 12.20pm that 367 properties were now without supply and estimated time to restore power was 2.11pm on Friday.
Beyond Radio has contacted Electricity North West for comment.
