Pubs and bars on Morecambe Promenade have joined forces for a brand new music festival in the town.
Prom Fest will run from April 4 to 6 across multiple venues, featuring acoustic sessions, high-energy band performances and DJs.
Pub licensees in Morecambe have come together to organise the three-day event to help boost the town's festival season, which suffered a blow last week with the announcement that Vintage-by-the-sea won't happen in 2025.
Venues involved include Shore Thing, The Royal Bar & Shaker, the Old Bank, The Pier, Soul Bowl, Kings Arms, Embargo, The Bath, The Boardwalk and the Brittlestar, with more to be confirmed.
Prom Fest was announced on social media as "a brand new self-funded live music festival, created by the local pubs and bars, run by locals, for locals.
"This is all about bringing the spark back to Morecambe’s nightlife, celebrating our venues, and kicking off the season in style.

The annual Morecambe Music Festival will also take place as normal across multiple town venues this summer, running from July 10 to 13.
