A 5km fun run will take place on Morecambe Promenade to celebrate recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
The Well Communities will host The Bay 5K Recovery Run on Saturday September 24 - as September is recognised as the International Month of Recovery.
The run will start at The Yacht Club opposite Morecambe Town Hall, heading to the former VVV site at Hest Bank and back again.
The Well was set up by local couple Kerrie and Dave Higham to support people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
LISTEN to Kerrie Higham (pictured below with Dave) talking about the Recovery Run, being awarded the MBE and her own recovery from addiction.

Kerrie, director of operations at The Well, said: "It really means a lot for us to fly the flag and really show what's possible in recovery.
"Events like these are really good for challenging stigma, bringing communities together and giving people an opportunity to be loud and proud that they're in recovery.
"It sends a message that 'if I can do it, you can do it too'."
"This run is for everybody.
"We've had a little training group where staff members have had eight weeks of training. We've also linked up with running clubs and professionals from other organisations who will come and get involved.
"You don't have to run, you can walk it.
"We have the mayor to open the event and there will be a samba band, and plenty of stalls."
In March, Kerrie collected an MBE for her work with recovering addicts in her home town of Morecambe.
Also this year, she and Dave were invited to the Platinum Party in the Palace as part of the Queen's 70th jubilee celebrations.
"I'm extremely proud and humbled," said Kerrie.
"I was a heroin addict for 15 years and an alcoholic, and turned my life around.
"The MBE is for services to Morecambe which makes me even more proud, because there was a time when I didn't put much into Morecambe.
"To have the opportunity to put some good back into the community, to open our doors so people can come in and we can provide loads of different services to them, that's the part I'm most proud about."
The Bay 5K Recovery Run starts at 11am on Saturday September 24. Registration starts at 9.30am.
The first 100 runners to register will be given free T-shirt and there will be a medal for the first 150 people to complete the race.
