A rescue team has been called out to a motorist cut off by rising tide at Sunderland Point.
Morecambe Coastguard Rescue Team said the owner of the vehicle was safely recovered after the incident on Sunday.
A spokesperson said the vehicle was submerged on the Causeway on the way to Sunderland Point.
"A note to all members of the public, Sunderland Point is a lovely and interesting place to visit, but please be aware of fast rising tides," said a post on the Morecambe Coastguard Rescue Team Facebook page.
"Anything over eight metres of the rising tide will cover the Causeway.
"Please take care to read tide times and tide heights.
"All stay safe and remember, if you ever find yourself in difficulty along the coast dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard."
The team said this was approximately their 70th call out of the year.
