Firefighters freed a person trapped inside a vehicle following a road traffic collision in Heysham.
Two fire engines from Lancaster were called to the incident which they said involved persons trapped in a vehicle on Faraday Road.
They were called at 11.48am on Friday.
"Firefighters extricated one casualty, who was then handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service," said a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"Crews were in attendance for approximately 30 minutes."
