A man who burgled a shop in Lancaster city centre has been jailed for two years.
Shaun Roberts, 31, of Wrexham, was found guilty after he smashed the front door of the business during an early-hours break-in, and stole the cash till.
Roberts, who appeared before Lancaster Magistrates Court earlier this month, was also ordered to pay £154 in costs.
He had previously been imprisoned for 26 weeks in October 2024 for committing several burglaries of local businesses in the city in September.
Roberts had been released from prison early, and police were able to quickly identify him as the culprit for the latest offence.
