Tyson Fury will make his return to WWE wrestling this weekend when he appears at ringside at a history-making event in Cardiff.
The WBC heavyweight boxing champion has confirmed he will be at ringside to watch Clash at the Castle at the 68,000 capacity Principality Stadium in Cardiff this Saturday (September 3).
Fury, who lives in Morecambe, last appeared in World Wrestling Entertainment in 2019.
The Clash at the Castle show will be the first WWE event in a major stadium in the UK in 30 years, since Summerslam 1992 at Wembley Stadium. It will air on BT Sport 2 in the UK.
The show will be headlined by WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, cousin of Hollywood film star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, defending his title against the former champion from Scotland, Drew McIntyre.
Fury and McIntyre have had a long-time war of words on social media, which makes many observers believe that Tyson might not be in Wales just to watch the show, and may get physical!
WWE boss Paul 'Triple H' Levesque told BBC1 Xtra: "I'm going to put cameras on him and see what he does.
"Which is usually something magic."
A lifelong fan of 'American' wrestling, Fury had special training from WWE for his first match in the 'sports entertainment' environment.
The boxer defeated 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman at the Crown Jewel event, held in front of 70,000 fans in Riyadh on October 31 2019. Since then, he has spoken of his desire to return to WWE in future.
Fury is currently officially retired from boxing but has said he will return for an undisputed heavyweight title fight with Oleksandr Usyk if he receives half a billion pounds payment for a bout with the Ukrainian.
