Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery near Lancaster’s Millennium Bridge.
The incident occurred at around 4:40pm yesterday (Tuesday, September 27), when a 54-year-old man was cycling down the cycle track parallel to Morecambe Road towards Lancaster city centre.
After crossing Millennium bridge, a male dressed in a black coat and black bottoms, ran after him towards the stone bridge, pushing the victim off his bike.
He then took his bike and cycled back across Millennium bridge towards Skerton.
The bike stolen was an orange and black trek mountain bike.
