A popular licensee has thanked his customers for their support ahead of his final day in charge at a Morecambe pub.
Bru Wood will be leaving the Palatine after a last day on Sunday, September 1, after seven years at the helm of the town centre premises.
Earlier this year the pub's owners Lancaster Brewery announced they would be putting the building up for sale.
Mr Wood posted on Facebook: "Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for giving me an amazing time in this industry."
Under Bru's leadership, the pub has become known for supporting live music and in particular, the annual Morecambe Music Festival.
His final weekend at the Palatine included performances from local singers Stuart Michaels (Friday) and Paul Akister (Saturday).
The pub will be open this evening. The final gig with tribute artist Jon Fisher as Gary Barlow is a ticketed event, from 9pm, and there are no tickets left.
Supporters of 'the Pally' posted their well-wishes to Bru (pictured below) and the team as they prepare to move on.

Singer Mark McKenna posted: "You will be a huge miss folks. Thank you so much for all the work and I wish you well in the next chapter."
Darren Clifford, a former local councillor, posted: "See you over the weekend, Morecambe has been lucky to have you as not just a licensee but a real core of the community, you will be missed."
Local band Rock It Man said: "The end of a great era. We've had so many great gigs there over the years. Felt like being part of a lovely family, which is what it was. You'll be really missed. All the best from us to you, and good luck in whatever comes next."
The Palatine, on the corner of Queen Street and Marine Road at 1 The Crescent, is owned by Lancaster Brewery.
They acquired and refurbished the premises in 2008.
Phil Simpson, director at Lancaster Brewery, explained to Beyond Radio earlier this year, the reason for putting the building on the market. See our story below.
