Residents are counting the cost after torrential rain led to widespread flooding across the District.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service reported they were called out to several incidents of flooding in Lancaster on Thursday morning.
This included at several properties on Willow Lane, where fire crews were on site for more than seven hours.
Crews from Lancaster, Silverdale and Fulwood used wading poles and swift water rescue gear to isolate gas and electricity supplies to affected properties.
Two fire engines from Morecambe and Carnforth also went to flooding involving several homes on Brook Street.
A fire service spokesperson said that a light pressure pump, two handbag pumps and scene lighting were used to clear significant flood water from properties. Crews were on the scene for around 10 hours and 30 minutes.
Fire crews also went to homes on Princess Avenue, where firefighters isolated electricity supplies to affected properties and checked on residents' welfare. Crews were on the scene for around one hour and 20 minutes.
And a fire crew from Hornby went to flooding at several homes on Avondale Road, using a main pump to clear water, unblock drains and isolate electricity supplies to affected properties. They were there for around one hour and 20 minutes.

Several businesses reported that they had to close for the day, or delay opening, due to floods after heavy rainfall overnight and into Thursday morning.
There were also multiple reports of flood water on many of the District's roads.
The Totally Local Lancaster Morecambe District page said that a team from Lancaster City Council’s Cleansing Department will be out in the city centre today, looking to help affected businesses dispose of debris and flood-damaged waste.
