Two personal trainers are set out on a 100-mile running challenge up three mountains and then back to their gym in Bolton-le-Sands for causes close to their hearts.
Ben Clifton and Jordan Cairns have raised more than £6000 to date for their Yorkshire 3 Peaks 100 miler for Vasculitis UK and the Childhood Tumour Trust.
They will tackle the 72-mile Yorkshire Three Peaks distance - the equivalent of just under four marathons but also with a total elevation of 18,000 feet - over the weekend of August 29 and 30 - before running 28 miles back to the RL Fitness Suite where they work.
Ben and Jordan are expecting the challenge to take around 36 hours.
The mountains of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent are collectively known as the Three Peaks and the challenge is a popular one among climbers and runners.

Vasculitis is a little-known group of conditions that cause inflammation of the blood vessels.
Ali died in 2024 just seven weeks after becoming ill with vasculitis.
Ben said: "It was a huge huge shock, my mum was 71 when she passed, and she was a very fit, very health conscious lady.
"So for me, being able to raise funds for a charity that supports other people with vasculitis and raises money for research into how it can be treated and how people's lives could be saved, is of massive importance."
Jordan is raising money for The Childhood Tumour Trust to support Alba, the nine-year-old daughter of his friends Johnny and Eneshia Stephenson.
"At the beginning of the year Alba was diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumour," said Jordan.
"Throughout Alba's life she has carried NF1 (Neurofibromatosis type 1), a rare genetic disorder which causes non-cancerous tumours to grow on nerve tissues.
"Alba trains in the gym and has had an impact on my life. She is a beautiful little girl with such a good attitude.
"I thought I can do something amazing here in terms of raising money and spreading awareness of what NF1 is, and broadcasting the charity to the world."
Their fundraising page says: "This is definitely the biggest challenge either of us have take on and we are doing so to raise as much money as possible for two very important charities.
"I know all charities are important, however these are two that mean something to us both on a very deep and personal level, so please give what you can."
